Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and flexible Remote Chat Moderator to join our team at arenaflex. As a part-time, remote position, you'll be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that our community guidelines are upheld, and providing excellent customer service to our users. Key Responsibilities:

* Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, including: + Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines + Banning users with multiple and repeat violations of our rules + Muting users who have violated our guidelines + Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations

• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies
• Providing excellent customer service to our users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Staying up-to-date with our community guidelines and policies, and ensuring that they are consistently enforced
• Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about our community and best practices

Essential Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on customer service and support

• Familiarity with community guidelines and policies, and experience enforcing them in a previous role
• Experience working with diverse communities and populations, with a strong understanding of the importance of inclusivity and respect
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
