Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team in a full-time, 100% remote role. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to patients, their families, and healthcare professionals. Your primary duties will include inbound sales calls, scheduling appointments, and general customer service tasks. Responsibilities
- Inbound Sales Calls: Answer patient inquiries, provide information about our services, and assist with booking appointments. - Insurance Verification: Check insurance coverage for patients, submit pre-authorizations, and ensure seamless billing processes. - Follow-up and Scheduling: Follow up with potential patients, schedule appointments, and reschedule when necessary. - Patient Communication: Keep patients informed about their status, including equipment, materials, and surveys. - Sales Updates: Provide weekly sales updates to the operations manager, ensuring our team stays informed about sales performance.
Requirements
- Availability: Be available to answer the phone and work on your computer from approximately 9:00am-5:30pm PST every business day, free from distractions and noise. - Customer Service Experience: Possess at least 10 years of customer service experience, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences. - Medical Receptionist Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience as a medical receptionist, including insurance verification experience. - Inside/Inbound Sales Experience: Possess at least 5 years of inside/inbound sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets. - Computer and Organization Skills: Demonstrate strong computer and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. - Self-Motivation and Flexibility: Be highly self-motivated and enjoy spending time on the phone with prospects, with a willingness to adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities.
Compensation, Growth, and Benefits
