Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk, MSO, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering work orders for dental and laboratory handpieces with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reviewing work orders to verify customer warranty claims, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and accurate
  • Accurately entering data into corresponding fields within various software programs, maintaining the integrity of our data and ensuring seamless communication with our customers
  • Completing warranty work for various vendors, tracking items to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Acting as a backup to our Customer Service Representatives, assisting with taking overflow telephone calls during periods of high call volume
  • Working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software programs as required
  • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as required to support the success of our team

Work Experience and Education

* Previous experience in a relevant position is desired, with a strong understanding of data entry and customer service principles

  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is preferred, with a strong understanding of software applications and data management
  • A High School degree or equivalent is required, with a strong foundation in basic math and logic skills

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

* Ability to read, understand, and perform standard procedures and work instructions with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Basic math and logic skills required, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data
  • Basic computer skills and software use (email, document prep, and spreadsheets) desired, with a strong understanding of data management and software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Travel and Physical Demands

* Travel is typically not required for this position, with the majority of work performed in an office environment

  • The position typically works in a stable office environment, with minimal physical demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch, and lift up to 15 pounds
