Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our onboarding process, you'll be responsible for communicating with our delivery professionals, reviewing applications, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Responsibilities As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for: * Reviewing applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility * Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided) * Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications * Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and onboarding status * Collaborating with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process Experience While we don't require specific experience in the transportation industry, we're looking for candidates with: * Associate's degree or above (preferred, but not required) * 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers or working in data entry, HR, or customer service (preferred, not required) * A strong understanding of the gig economy and the importance of onboarding in this space Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents accurately * Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Work Environment and Culture As a remote-friendly company, we offer the flexibility to work from home or our downtown San Diego office.
