Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, answering a wide range of inquiries, and ensuring an excellent experience for our callers. This is a remote-based position, and you'll need to live within 50 miles of Richmond, VA. We're looking for a self-sufficient individual with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.

Responsibilities

* Answer in-coming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs

  • Provide accurate and timely information to members and providers, ensuring a positive experience
  • Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
  • Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
  • Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
  • Self-sufficiency and ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to commute to the office in Richmond, VA when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working remotely in a call center setting

  • Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance standards

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $17.00 - $27.90
