Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative on our National Campaigns Unit, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to public companies, helping them navigate complex shareholder communications. You'll work closely with internal clients, such as Computershare and Georgeson, to deliver accurate and timely information to shareholders. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real impact in the world of shareholder communications.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to public companies, responding to inbound, outbound, and email inquiries
- Collaborate with internal clients to deliver accurate and timely information to shareholders
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of shareholder communications, including contested proxy meetings and shareholder voting processes
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information to shareholders, ensuring they have the best possible understanding of the issues at hand
- Work closely with the National Campaigns Unit team to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 months+ years of customer service, data entry, or related experience
- Good speaking voice and ability to communicate effectively with shareholders
- Ability to read and correct grammar/English speaking
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Familiarity with shareholder communications and proxy voting processes
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping software
Equipment Requirements
* MacBook (not preferred, but must be a current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11)
- Headsets – USB headsets (no wireless)
- Dual monitors (benefited, but not required)
- Ability to come off mute when called on, materials open, and participate in chat when asked to complete a task
- Internet Speed: 50 download/ 10 upload
