Expert Paralegal Business Immigration and Family

Senior Immigration Paralegal (Remote – Contract / Independent Contractor) Family-Based & Business Immigration We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Immigration Paralegal to partner with our firm on a contract / independent contractor basis. This is a remote, business-to-business opportunity for a seasoned professional who operates independently, manages their own workflow, and delivers high-quality legal support. Spanish Speaker preferable. Flex Remote position. This role is best suited for an established paralegal or legal services provider who is comfortable functioning as an independent operator, not an employee. Scope of Work

• Support a caseload across:
• Family-based immigration (AOS, I-130, I-485, naturalization, consular processing)
• Business immigration (H-1B, O-1, EB-1A, E-2, PERM/I-140 support)
• Prepare complete petition packages, including:
• Forms, cover letters, exhibits, and supporting documentation
• Assist with RFEs, NOIDs, and case follow-through
• Coordinate with attorneys on case strategy and execution
• Communicate with clients regarding document collection and case progress
• Maintain organized digital files and meet agreed-upon deadlines

Requirements

• 5+ years immigration paralegal experience (senior-level required)
• Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently from intake to filing
• Strong experience in both family-based and employment-based immigration
• High level of accuracy, organization, and accountability
• Ability to manage workload and deadlines without supervision
• Professional communication with clients and legal team

Engagement Structure

• Independent Contractor / 1099 (or equivalent business entity)
• Fully remote
• Work is assigned on a per-case or project basis
• Flexible schedule, with expectation of timely delivery and responsiveness
• Compensation based on scope, complexity, and output
