Responsibilities:
As a Data Entry Associate with arenaflex, you will be responsible for: ### Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database.
- Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database.
- Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications.
- Following data program security practices and procedures at all times.
- Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily.
- Performing other various clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPPA regulations.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
### Essential Skills and Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience in a medical office preferred but not required.
- Must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
### Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data entry software and systems.
- Knowledge of HIPPA regulations and data security practices.
- Certification in medical terminology or a related field.
