Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative and Remote Virtual Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our healthcare operations team. Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for physicians, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital and medical facility policies.
- Updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's medical record.
- Preparing and sending all documentation to physicians for review and approval, adhering to facility-specific procedures and detailed data entry.
- Monitoring the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Complying with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission.
- Performing other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow, as assigned.
Required Equipment and Environment
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A laptop or desktop with a minimum i5 processor and 8GB of RAM
- A stable internet connection with a speed of at least 35mbps
- A noise-cancelling headset and webcam for video conferencing and communication
- A dedicated workspace at home, free from distractions and interruptions
Schedule and Work-Life Balance
As a full-time employee, you'll enjoy a regular schedule of 8 hours per day, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible hours to accommodate your needs.
