A Day in the Life of a Customer Care Specialist II

As a Customer Care Specialist II, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat contacts. You'll troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Successfully resolve customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts.
  • Customer Service: Provide customers with critical service and product information, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Order Processing: Process orders and enter data into our order entry system.
  • Package Tracking: Track customer packages and ensure timely delivery.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

You Own This If You Have...

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Customer Service Experience: 6+ months of experience in a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred).
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
  • Computer Systems: Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate; flexibility required during peak times.
  • Home Workspace: A quiet, distraction-free, secure home workspace.
  • Technical Requirements: Ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turn on the camera when requested by leadership.
  • Internet and Hardware: Wired, high-speed Internet, Modem or Router with an Ethernet Port – Thin client must connect directly (No Satellite Internet or Wi-Fi).
