Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and stakeholders via inbound calls, emails, and written correspondence. You'll be the face of arenaflex, ensuring that every interaction is handled promptly, professionally, and with a smile. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

* Handle high-volume calls (70-120 per day) with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties, providing accurate and timely information about policy coverage, claim status, and other policy-related matters.

  • Review and maintain new and revised procedures regarding policy information, ensuring that you're always up-to-date on the latest developments.
  • Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, whether it's a phone call, email, or written correspondence.
  • Maintain department standards for call volume, average handle time, and time management, ensuring that you're meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

* 1+ years of work experience in a high-volume contact center environment, with a strong background in customer service and communication.

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong remote experience (although not required, it's a plus!).
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download speed) and a hard-wired connection.
  • Smartphone with VPN access.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Quiet and professional work environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Training and Development

* 2-3 weeks of comprehensive training in a classroom setting (Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST).

Work Environment and Schedule

* Work from home in a quiet and professional environment.

  • Nationwide availability (except for the following locations: Houston, TX, Miami, FL, New York, California, Hawaii, Washington, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Vermont, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, and Wyoming).
  • 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is presented.
  • Full-time positions only (no part-time).

* Smartphone with VPN access.

  • All other equipment will be provided by arenaflex.
