Job Summary:

We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to individuals traveling, using baggage or cargo services, and handling various aspects of check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and resolving customer complaints. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide friendly and courteous service to all internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for our passengers.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle various aspects of check-in, including processing tickets, baggage handling, and resolving related issues.
  • Operate an electronic ticketing system, manage boarding, and process customer transactions.
  • Process payments, make change, and balance daily transactions.
  • Inspect baggage and cargo, answer phone calls to provide information, and assist customers as needed.
  • Manage overbooked flights, delayed or cancelled flights, lost or damaged luggage, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, reservations, and other travel-related information.
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the organization.
  • Write incident and complaint reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job.
  • Ability to understand reports, follow instructions, learn and understand tagging techniques, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve quick turnaround of flights.
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Service Worker Handbook and Work Schedule.
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space.
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.

  • Work in a confined space, with frequent exposure to noise, crowds, and stress.
  • May be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
