Job Summary
As an Experienced Mandarin Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, medical facilities, transportation providers, and health plans. You'll take inbound calls, accurately enter ride details, confirm member eligibility, answer member inquiries, and identify and assess member's additional needs. You'll also work closely with other internal departments to quickly address real-time issues and provide a positive experience for our members.
Primary Responsibilities
• Taking inbound calls from Members, Medical Facilities, Transportation Providers, and Health Plans to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Accurately entering ride details to ensure successful ride completion and ensure that our members receive the transportation they need
- Confirming member eligibility and ensuring that our members meet the necessary requirements for transportation services
- Answering Member inquiries regarding transportation services, including questions about scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Identifying and assessing Member's additional needs, such as language barriers or special requests, and providing support to ensure that our members receive the care they need
- Intaking of Member concerns and addressing them in a timely and professional manner
- Actively working with other internal departments to quickly address real-time issues and provide a positive experience for our members
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Education and Experience
• Must be fluent in Mandarin (verbal)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of inbound call center experience in a high call volume atmosphere
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively in person, via email, and over the phone
- Positive and helpful attitude
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and conflict resolution ability
- Ability to work independently and/or with a Team
- Accurately type 35 wpm or more
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to changes in business, strategy, and technology
- Ability to empathize with the Member and/or Member's guardian
- Must be able to work with geographically and culturally diverse populations and personalities
Job Requirements
• Must be able to pass a criminal background record check and sanctions check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have the ability to work flexible shifts to include overnights and weekends
- Must be able to work from a well-lit, dedicated, and quiet area from where to work remotely without interruption or distraction
- Must have a notebook or desktop computer, with minimum processing speed of 1.6 GHz and 16 GB usable RAM available
- Must have High-Speed Broadband service (wired only) with a minimum of 150 Mbps in a dedicated (single person use) environment or 300 Mbps if in a shared environment (having a backup internet provider is a plus!)
