Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative on our National Campaigns Unit team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional shareholder communications to public companies across the country. You'll work with internal clients, such as Computershare and Georgeson, to provide inbound, outbound, and email responses to shareholder inquiries. Your primary goal will be to educate shareholders about the importance of supporting management's vision and to direct them on how to vote in contested proxy meetings.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional shareholder communications to public companies across the country
- Work with internal clients, such as Computershare and Georgeson, to deliver inbound, outbound, and email responses to shareholder inquiries
- Educate shareholders about the importance of supporting management's vision and direct them on how to vote in contested proxy meetings
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of shareholder communications best practices and industry trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results and achieve business objectives
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 months+ years of customer service, data entry, or related experience
- Good speaking voice and ability to communicate effectively with shareholders
- Ability to read and correct grammar/English speaking
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Familiarity with shareholder communications and proxy voting processes
- Strong knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Equipment Requirements
* MacBook (not preferred, but has to be a current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11)
- Headsets – need USB headsets (no wireless)
- Dual monitors will be beneficial, but not required
- Ability to come off mute when called on (unacceptable not to participate), materials open and are on the current example that is being shared, and participating in the chat when asked to complete a task
- Internet Speed: 50 download/ 10 upload
