Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Customer Service Associate – Empathetic Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls throughout scheduled shifts, assisting customers with healthcare claims and enrollment
  • Developing a warm and friendly approach to build rapport with callers
  • De-escalating and managing difficult calls with professionalism and level-headedness
  • Providing consistent, high-quality customer support through excellent listening skills, research, and attention to detail
  • Navigating multiple applications on one call with ease and efficiency
  • Utilizing strong navigation skills to quickly transition from one task to another
  • Working with dual monitors to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Maintaining excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members
  • Meeting minimum typing requirements of 25 WPM
  • Utilizing keyboard shortcuts to increase productivity
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ year of call center experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Residency in the United States
  • Ability to work in a quiet, private, and distraction-free workspace
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 25MBPS download and 5MBPS upload
  • Two (2) 22" monitors with a video adapter
  • Ability to connect directly to the internet via a hardwired connection
  • US-based internet service provider
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare-related call center
  • Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and regulations
  • Experience working with multiple applications on one call
  • Strong navigation skills and ability to quickly transition from one task to another
  • Proficiency with dual monitors and keyboard shortcuts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Training and Development

As a new hire, you will participate in a comprehensive 4-week training program, which includes:

  • Mandatory paid training with 100% attendance required
  • Training dates: TBD, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm EST
  • Training will cover essential skills, including customer service, communication, and technical skills
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Compensation and Benefits

As a Virtual Customer Service Associate – Empathetic Support Specialist, you will receive:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $14.50 per hour
  • Biweekly pay via direct deposit
  • Paid orientation, training, and nesting
  • Contingent upon successfully completing and passing a background check
  • No fees associated with applying or working for arenaflex
