Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Care Associate to join our team in Plano, Texas. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, a strong understanding of the insurance industry, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing front-line phone customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and striving to meet service standards
  • Fielding between 75 to 100 calls per day, resolving questions and issues in a professional and effective manner
  • Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry and of all products, services, and processes performed by the team
  • Collaborating with management or other team members to proactively address service issues and concerns
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of experience in an office environment
  • 1 year of experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications
  • 6 months of experience working from home in a quiet area
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous insurance industry experience, with knowledge of life insurance and annuity policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* 6 months of experience in a role that required attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for your work product

  • 6 months of experience in a role that required effective communication (oral/written) in a professional/office setting
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance
