Student Customer Service Coordinator – Oxford Campus

Job Summary:

As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for our patrons, providing assistance with various questions and problems in customer service areas. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, performing basic cleaning responsibilities, and enforcing facility policies. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your customer service skills, work in a dynamic environment, and make a positive impact on our campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet patrons and guests, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining a positive and approachable composure

  • Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas
  • Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash, equipment, and laundry
  • Special event set-up and operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
  • Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patrons, colleagues, and other stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

* Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications or obtained within the first 30 days of employment

  • BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience, preferably in a higher education setting

  • Knowledge of arenaflex's policies and procedures
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
