Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Innovate:

Oversee the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs. Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends and technologies, and implementing them to drive business value.

Team Leadership:

Manage and inspire a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our data systems. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Strategic Execution:

Drive the execution of our data product strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

MDM and Data Governance:

Implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization. Develop and maintain data quality standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Cloud Solutions:

Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and apply them to drive business value.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning them with our data strategy. Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, and ensure that data-driven insights are actionable and impactful.

Advanced Technologies:

Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrate them with cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions. Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends and technologies, and implementing them to drive business value.

Technical Expertise:

Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into actionable insights. Develop and maintain technical documentation, and ensure that data-driven insights are accessible to all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 12 years in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation.

Expertise:

Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and big data technologies. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and motivating high-performing teams.

Technical Skills:

Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.
