Remote IT Support Technician
Location: Greater Sudbury Become a key player as a Remote IT Support Technician, providing vital technical services and support across Canada. This role is crucial for managing technical support at customer sites, where you will utilize your IT expertise to resolve complex hardware issues and maintain service quality. You will also collaborate with team members while preparing necessary reports and ensuring adherence to safety standards in all activities. The role demands quick travel and flexible schedules, including night and weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle field troubleshooting for hardware and connectivity
- Maintain organized and safe working environments
- Install and test network infrastructure components
- Document work and file reports for future reference
- Communicate with Help Desk on technical escalations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years in IT field services
- CompTIA A+ Certification is required
- Degree in IT or a related discipline
- Experience in retail settings with POS systems
- Valid driving license needed for travel
