This position is part of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division at arenaflex. As an IT Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting employees in all aspects of end-user computing, including software/hardware installations, upgrades, and general maintenance of PC workstations and peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals
- Answer customer service issues raised from the Helpdesk
- Contribute to workstation projects (global installs/redesigns) as a project team member
- Remotely diagnose and resolve issues using remote tools
- Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues
- Record customer interactions in incident management software, including resource management
- Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
- Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband connectivity for workstations
- Install and configure local and network-based printers
- Perform routine maintenance and support tasks
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be prepared to travel as required
- Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need for success:

Essential Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience/training + 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues + First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A+ certification + MCSE/MCP certification or higher + Past IT experience in an aircraft/airport environment + Familiarity with workflow and tagging systems + Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues + Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment + Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
