Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Specialist - Extended Hours (Work from Home Flexibility), you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering exceptional customer service through inbound telephone calls, email, and online chats
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems related to their accounts
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Processing telephone transfers, loan payments, and stop payments requests
- Monitoring and responding to online chats from our website
- Maintaining knowledge of regulations governing transactions in relation to banking services
- Resetting electronic banking PINS, duplicating statements, and answering debit card inquiries
- Assisting customers with Internet Banking and Bill Pay
- Resetting passcodes, assisting with log-in, or guiding customers through the Internet Banking website
- Answering debit card inquiries, including resetting PINs and ordering replacement cards
- Providing Video Teller assistance for ITMs
- Maintaining accurate department records
- Staying up-to-date on all bank products and services
- Cross-selling to existing and prospective customers
- Identifying sales referral opportunities and making appropriate referrals
- Participating in sales campaigns as identified
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of deposits, loans, and banking products and services
- Minimum of two years customer service experience or related experience
- Financial Call Center experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work from home remote position
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel to office for periodic meetings and training
- Ability to multi-task
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 360 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Attention to detail

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrates proficiency and commitment to excellence in performance of duties
Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
