Job Summary

As a Director of Operations Process, you'll be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and enhance arenaflex's competitive edge. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations Strategy, Field Implementation Managers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and measure impact. Your expertise in process design, strategic thinking, and leadership will be essential in driving successful improvements and delivering quick returns on investment.

Key Responsibilities

* Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure operational areas are considered in project plans and develop strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency and customer experience.

  • Coordinate responsibilities of Operations Managers and Analysts, supporting and partnering with the Operations Strategy Team to develop, staff, pilot, and implement process improvements within stores.
  • Develop and implement project workflows and roll-out schedules, measuring impact and monitoring progress.
  • Remain up-to-date on operational areas of expertise to meet requests for improvement and practice continuous process improvement.
  • Partner with Field Implementation Managers to establish project metrics and tollgates, ensuring alignment with operational expertise.
  • Use expertise in strategic thinking and process design to drive successful improvements in operational areas, working towards quick implementation and quick return on investment.
  • Evaluate needs of multiple project requests and impact on operational areas, aggregating data gathered by Operations Analysts and ensuring needs of projects are met.
  • Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports

* Direct and indirect reports typically include 5 professionals and 14 support associates.

  • Requires strong interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
  • Faces situations with a variety of interpretations and requires careful evaluation.
  • Considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems.
  • Provides infrequent status reports to management as appropriate.

Travel Requirements

* Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements

* Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about.

  • Rarely requires moving or lifting light articles.

Working Conditions

* Typically works in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from dust, fumes, or odors.

  • Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas, and/or deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

* MBA Degree preferred.

  • 4 years of management experience at arenaflex preferred.

Minimum Education

* The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
