Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our after-hours team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving queries and issues in a timely and professional manner, and working collaboratively with our caregivers and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities

As an After-Hours Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours, including providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
  • Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary
  • Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
  • Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
  • Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed
  • Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fluent English: You'll need to be fluent in English to communicate effectively with our clients and team members.
  • Compassionate and confident: You'll need to be able to provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients, while also being confident and professional in your interactions.
  • Responsible and reliable: You'll need to be able to work independently and make decisions in a timely and professional manner.
  • 10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties: You'll need to have a minimum of 10 years' experience in customer service and office duties, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours: You'll need to be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Impeccable phone and computer skills: You'll need to have excellent phone and computer skills, including the ability to navigate our platform and software.
  • Staffing and/or health care experience: You'll need to have experience working in staffing or healthcare, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Experience working remotely and independently to the USA: You'll need to have experience working remotely and independently, with a strong understanding of the US market and its regulations.
  • Quiet and professional work-from-home environment: You'll need to have a quiet and professional work-from-home environment, with a reliable internet connection and a backup plan for load-shedding.
