Job Summary
As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families. You'll be responsible for:
- Empathetic communication: Using active listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve account balances.
- Customer service excellence: Providing outstanding customer service, collaborating with patients to find affordable payment plans, and taking payments by phone.
- Documentation and organization: Accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail.
- Team support: Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and a caring team focus.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously improving your skills and knowledge, with supportive coaching and feedback from your manager and team leads.
What You'll Need
* Prior experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
