Job Summary:
As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for monitoring and managing user interactions on our official Discord server. This part-time, remote position requires a flexible and self-motivated individual who can effectively enforce community guidelines, resolve conflicts, and provide excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
* Moderate user interactions on our Discord server, ensuring that all conversations adhere to our community guidelines and rules.
- Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to:
+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotion + Inflammatory or provocative content + Personal attacks or harassment
- Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, following our established protocols and procedures.
- Mute users who have violated our community guidelines, providing them with an opportunity to reflect on their behavior and adhere to our rules.
- Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, working closely with our team to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive community environment.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines, ensuring that our online community remains safe and inclusive for all members.
Essential Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong understanding of community guidelines and online safety protocols
- Familiarity with Discord and its features
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience as a moderator or community manager in a online community or social media platform
- Knowledge of community building and engagement strategies

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
