The Role

As a Part Time Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service across telephone, social media, webchat, and email. You'll be a brand ambassador for our clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and deliver exceptional experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, empathetic, and tailored to the customer's needs
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and escalating concerns as necessary
  • Building strong relationships with customers, understanding their preferences and tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs
  • Collaborating with the customer service team to share best practices, provide support, and drive continuous improvement
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and customer feedback to ensure that you're always providing the best possible service

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and qualities, including:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
  • Experience working in a luxury beauty and fashion environment, with a passion for the industry and its products
  • A 'can-do' attitude, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Fluency in German, with a C2 level of English
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, we're particularly interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Fashion retail or luxury beauty and fashion brands
  • Communication fields, such as marketing, PR, or advertising
  • Make-up artists or qualifications in dermatology or skincare
  • Graduates from the Fashion Retail Academy or similar institutions

Working Hours and Location

This is a part-time role, requiring 20 hours of work per week. The working hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday: 9am-6pm
  • Thursday: 2pm-6pm
  • Friday: 9am-6pm

You'll have the option to work remotely (WFH) or from our Southend-on-Sea office.

Homeworking Eligibility

To ensure that you can work effectively from home, you'll need to meet the following hardware and software requirements:

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, with a compatible processor, RAM, and storage space
  • macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, with a compatible processor, RAM, and storage space
  • A Windows 11 compatible machine, with a minimum of 8GB RAM and 15GB+ free storage space
  • A mobile phone with iOS 15.0 (or later) or Android 12 (or later)
  • Anti-virus protection, with Windows Defender for Microsoft devices and X-Protect for MAC OS
