What You'll Be Doing

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be the spark that brightens days and ignites careers. Your passion for helping others will shine through as you:

  • Bring your expertise and strong product and brand knowledge to recommend upgrades to customers' health plans
  • Conduct research and make outbound calls to provide answers for customers regarding general health care benefit and eligibility questions, enrollment status requests for new and existing members
  • Assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account, locating doctor and facility information

A Typical Day

* You'll work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and prioritize your tasks

  • You'll be part of a supportive team, working together to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • You'll have access to a range of tools and resources to help you succeed in your role, including training, coaching, and performance feedback

What You Bring to the Role

* 6 months or more of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service

  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy, just as you would expect if it were your private information being shared
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication and problem-solving skills
  • Computer experience, with a reliable high-speed internet connection (> 15 mbps)
  • A USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative), and a smartphone or device that runs IOS or Android (iPad, etc.) for daily log-in

Reporting and Success Metrics

You'll report to a Team Lead, and contribute to the success of the customer experience and the overall success of the team. Your performance will be measured against key metrics, including customer satisfaction, first-call resolution, and quality of service.
