The Role

As an Experienced Student Success Coach, you'll play a critical role in supporting students throughout their education program at arenaflex. You'll work with each student to challenge, motivate, support, and encourage them to do more than they may have thought possible. Your success will be measured by the progress of your students, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

* Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience for our students.

• Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, providing proactive and timely outreach to ensure their success.
• Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success.
• Provide a trusted environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests.
• Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student.
• Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support.
• Serve as a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments and resources within arenaflex.

What We're Looking For

* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent).

• Two or more years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling.
• Knowledge of academic policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn technical skills quickly.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner.
• Strong customer support focus and attention to details.

Schedule and Availability

We're open Monday-Thursday 8am to 7pm CDT, and Friday & Saturday 8am to 5pm CDT. We hire people from all time zones that have availability during our hours of operation, in support of our students. You'll have an assigned schedule during our hours of operation, which defines a 40-hour work week.
