Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales Strategy and Customer Development to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive business growth, building strong relationships with Costco buying management, and collaborating with our team to create innovative programs and services. Key Responsibilities

* Develop long-term sales strategies and annual sales plans that align with arenaflex's business objectives

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Costco buying management, providing valuable insights into consumer profiles and trends
  • Collaborate with the Costco GMM to develop regional event volume strategies, address discrepancies in expected volume, and influence changes to adjust volume back on track
  • Set annual and monthly sales objectives, ensuring alignment with arenaflex's business plan
  • Identify and address discrepancies in expected volume, working closely with the Costco GMM to resolve issues
  • Create and oversee the implementation of new programs and services for Costco and its vendors
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform sales strategies and drive business growth
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders, including Costco buying management and arenaflex's internal teams

Essential Qualifications

* Proven experience in a sales leadership role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets

  • Experience in collaborating with large retail partners, including Costco
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and develop innovative sales strategies
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with excellent relationship-building abilities
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with effective communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in managing relationships with major retailers, including Costco

  • Proven ability to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and market trends
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies that drive business growth

Education Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Experience Requirements

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management

  • Proven experience in managing relationships with major retailers, including Costco
