Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time, weekend schedule. As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from home on alternating weekends, enjoying a 4-day, 10-hour weekly schedule. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies, ensuring accurate and timely medication benefits assignment. Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, inputting, and supporting claimant profiles in our pharmacy network
  • Assisting pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications
  • Coordinating and liaising with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate medication benefits assignment
  • Supporting client needs on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data
  • Managing and updating client and claimant information in multiple systems
  • Adjusting to changing processes and needs of various clients
  • Answering questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies on topics related to claimant medications

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of related customer service or telephonic experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with and experience working as part of a dedicated team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as letters and reports
  • Strong understanding of proper telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Exceptional editing, grammar, and spelling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the healthcare or insurance industry
  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefit management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
