Key Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our customers who use accounting software. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
- Providing expert guidance on bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and more
- Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone, via email, or through our online platform
- Cross-selling relevant products and services to customers while addressing their concerns
- Taking ownership of customer issues and providing confident resolution
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Staying up-to-date with the latest accounting software and bookkeeping practices to ensure expert knowledge and support

Requirements
To succeed as a Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Bookkeeping/accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and more
- Customer service experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality support over the phone or through online channels
- Strong ownership of customer issues and a confident approach to problem-solving
- Tech savvy and comfortable using computer software and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
Work Environment and Technology Requirements
As a remote worker, you'll need:
- A quiet, uninterrupted space with a dedicated desk area
- A personal computer (no tablet) with a wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
- A broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps
- A wired USB headset with microphone
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up-to-date
- A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system (Mac users: Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility)
Important Information
As a contractor with arenaflex, you'll be considered an independent contractor and will be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and other expenses. You must live and work from the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington. You'll also need to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Contractual Relationship
The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
