Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our data management and analysis efforts. You'll work closely with our technology team to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include creating and maintaining reports, building data models, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making

• Develop and implement data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility
• Design and build new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse
• Collaborate with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements
• Generate, sustain, and cultivate scalable data pipelines and data designs
• Utilize data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI
• Assist in automating existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
• Work with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and implement new data variables (data exploration)
• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that yield actionable results
• Evaluate data from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies
• Validate data for accuracy by verifying against standards
• Research and remediate data errors
• Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures
• Analyze and affirm metrics are effective and provide feedback to division leaders on areas that require attention

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis

• Strong experience working with Power BI
• Proficiency in working with various reporting tools, including Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Calculated Fields, improvements, guidelines, provisional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. in Power BI
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M Code
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to create complex SQL to generate files and analytics
• Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods
• Problem-solving skills through statistical analysis with large data sets highly preferred
• Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
• Familiarity with Smartsheets
• Strong work ethic in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
