About the Role

As a Customer Service and Operations Analyst in Anti-Money Laundering, you will play a critical role in supporting our specialist AML team in delivering successful outcomes for the business and our customers. You will be responsible for investigating customer queries, processing transactions, and accurately collecting information to meet deadlines and high standards. You will also support process training and knowledge sharing across the team, working together towards success.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately investigate customer queries, raise with relevant parties, and escalate where needed

  • Ensure processing is performed accurately and within an agreed turn-around time
  • Monitor and participate in initiatives that help improve our customer service, processes, and procedures
  • Review processing errors and customer complaints to help identify trends and training needs
  • Complete end-to-end Luxembourg periodic reviews for Institutional Banking clients with private equity structures

Day-to-Day Activities

* Respond to customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Process, authorize, and investigate transactions, ensuring accurate and complete information is collected
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work from home some of the time, with a minimum of 2 days per week spent in our Edinburgh office

Essential Qualifications

* Experience working with AML processes and procedures, with a strong understanding of up-to-date trends, policies, and regulations

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and our customers
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately, to deadlines, and with high levels of attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of our products, processes, and banking systems

  • Experience working in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and training needs
  • Familiarity with Luxembourg periodic reviews and Institutional Banking clients with private equity structures
