Job Summary

As an Online Remote Live Chat Agent at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in providing timely responses to inquiries, addressing concerns, and delivering empathetic support to those navigating sensitive end-of-life issues. You'll work from the comfort of your home, using a live chat platform to connect with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

* Respond to live chat inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing accurate information about hospice services and resources.

  • Address and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
  • Collaborate with the hospice team to ensure seamless communication and support, working together to provide exceptional care and support.
  • Document chats and follow up as necessary to ensure client satisfaction, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance skillsets and knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest hospice care services and resources.
  • Utilize strong written communication skills with attention to detail, ensuring that every interaction is professional and empathetic.

  • Proficiency in using live chat software and basic computer applications, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 support for our patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.

  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and compassion, providing support and guidance to those in need.
  • Proficiency in using live chat software and basic computer applications, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 support for our patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a hospice or palliative care setting, with knowledge of hospice care services and resources.

  • Certification in a related field, such as Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) or Certified Social Worker in Hospice and Palliative Care (C-SWHPC).
