The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients' members, addressing their concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Performing PCP Change/Provider Lookup to ensure seamless transitions for our clients' members
- Looking up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisites, and coverage to provide accurate information to our clients' members
- Reviewing Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, and other benefits to ensure our clients' members receive the support they need
- Processing claims inquiries, including resolving issues related to billing and transactions
- Answering enrollment/disenrollment inquiries, grievances/complaints, and other member-related concerns
- Managing LEP (Limited English Proficiency) inquiries and disputes to ensure equal access to care for all our clients' members
- Assisting with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and catalogs
- Providing self-help options, including member portal access and local locations for pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist services
Experience Required for Your Success
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 months of Call center experience, with a strong background in healthcare
- A minimum of 2 years of Computer Experience in a work environment, with proficiency in software applications and systems
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to display empathy and care
- A dedicated area to work from in your home, with a reliable internet connection (minimum 50 Mb/s download speed and 10 Mb/s upload speed)
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
