Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk (Typist) at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Accurately processing customer applications while prioritizing precision and meeting performance expectations.
  • Professionally addressing customer inquiries, providing insightful and relevant information to resolve customer challenges.
  • Maintaining and updating customer credit records with attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our customer data.
  • Monitoring customer accounts and undertaking necessary actions based on account status, such as processing payments or resolving disputes.
  • Efficiently managing multiple responsibilities, including data entry, customer service, and administrative tasks.
  • Employing strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as email systems.
  • Operating independently with minimal supervision, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Contributing to a positive team environment and fostering collaborative efforts to achieve shared goals.
  • Adapting to flexible scheduling to accommodate the evolving demands of the business, including peak periods and special projects.

Required Skills

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a data entry role or a related position, with a proven track record of conducting scanning and typing tasks with notable accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry with an emphasis on attention to detail, including experience with customer service software and systems.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry is advantageous but not mandatory, as we're open to candidates from diverse backgrounds and industries.
