Job Responsibilities:
As a Medical Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Answering inbound calls and occasionally making outbound calls to assist with medically related inquiries
- Utilizing computer skills for data entry and gathering patient billing and medical information
- Collaborating with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
- Providing positive customer service and empathy to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and communication
Schedule and Availability:
We are seeking candidates who are available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, from 8am-10pm CST. You must be able to commit to an 8-hour shift between the hours of operation. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to choose your own workspace and schedule, as long as you meet the required availability.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- At least 1 year of recent call center experience (no exceptions)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide positive customer service and empathy
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred)
- High-speed internet with modem access
- A reliable computer and headset for remote work
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in the healthcare industry or medical billing
- Certification in medical terminology or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
