The Role

We're seeking an experienced Office Clerk with Data Entry skills to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis for a period of 6 months. As a key member of our accounting department, you'll play a vital role in organizing invoices, maintaining our filing system, and ensuring the accuracy of our records. Responsibilities

As an Office Clerk with Data Entry at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Document Management: File, scan, and photocopy historical accounting documents according to document retention policies, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Invoice Organization: Organize current invoices, tracking and finding any missing invoices to ensure that our records are complete and accurate.
  • Filing System Maintenance: Maintain our filing system, ensuring that all documents are properly categorized and easily accessible.
  • Accounting Support: Assist our accounting department in maintaining clean records, providing support as needed to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.
  • Digital Filing: File paperwork digitally and manually as necessary, ensuring that all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by our accounting department, contributing to the smooth operation of our team.

Education and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with additional qualifications in office administration or a related field being a plus.
  • Scanning Experience: Proven experience using scanning tools, such as document scanners or software.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Organizational Abilities: Excellent organizational abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Office Management: Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 20-30 pounds, with regular sitting and standing throughout the workday.
