Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Control Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
• Helping to create and convey results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
• Assisting in examining ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging support issues and providing insightful answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
• Presenting insights, patterns, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant goals of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
• Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, outlining the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
• Recognizing irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the Group.
• Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
• Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
• May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.

Essential Qualifications:

* Involved ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with care and accuracy.

• Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate thoughts and present in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to groups of varying sizes.
• Ability to review business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and decipher resulting measurements.
• Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.
• Ability to identify the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
• Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred.
• Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred.
• Willingness to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks successfully and be an autonomous self-starter.
• Past internship experience in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
• Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Statistics.

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation, particularly in a business or quality control setting.
• Experience with process improvement and quality control methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
• Experience with project management and coordination.
