Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our data entry team remotely. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining information in our databases and systems. This is a part-time position requiring less than 4 hours of work per day, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

* Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners

  • Type in data provided directly from customers
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents
  • Update existing data
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

Requirements

* Proven experience as a data entry clerk or relevant role

  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like printers and scanners
  • Good command of English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset

  • Previous experience in data entry or a similar role preferred
