Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Healthcare Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to external producers/agents, processing Medicare contracts, appointments, and verification of certification. You'll also support the background check review and documentation process. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to external producers/agents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Process Medicare contracts, appointments, and verification of certification for external producers/agents to be eligible to market Medicare plans
- Support the background check review and documentation process as needed
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge of healthcare operations
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ year of experience in a production environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to empathize and be compassionate in a transaction-based environment
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
- Bilingual skills (English and another language) are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a call center or retail location, with a strong background in customer service
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex customer issues
- Experience with data entry and processing, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment
- Familiarity with Medicare contracts and certification processes
