Job Summary
As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our clients' website visitors through live chat. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your role will be to provide accurate, concise, and helpful responses to their queries, while also promoting our products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real impact on our customers' experiences.
Responsibilities
As an Online Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
- Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
- Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
- Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
- Promoting interest in client products and services
- Consistently achieving established standards of the position
- Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
- Providing administrative support to the customer service team
- May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
- PC keyboarding and internet experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
- An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
- Ability to compose professional emails (a plus)
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications)
- An upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality
