This is a unique, fully remote opportunity for a safety professional who can effectively manage safety initiatives without being physically present on every site, relying on strong communication, auditing, and proactive planning skills. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety programs to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. The role demands a deep understanding of OSHA regulations, construction site safety best practices, and the ability to foster a robust safety culture across geographically dispersed teams. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the company's overall safety program and policies in accordance with OSHA and other relevant regulatory standards. Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and deliver engaging safety training materials and programs for all levels of employees. Maintain accurate safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation. Promote a proactive safety culture through effective communication, engagement, and leadership. Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety planning into all phases of construction projects. Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations as they relate to construction activities. Stay current with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations and industry best practices. Manage the procurement and distribution of safety equipment and supplies as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for safety inquiries from internal teams and external regulatory bodies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction safety management. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly preferred. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations (e.g., 29 CFR 1926) and construction safety standards. Proven experience in developing and implementing effective safety programs. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences remotely. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office productivity tools. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel occasionally as required for critical site assessments or training. Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and proactive safety culture. This is a critical role for ensuring the well-being of our workforce and the successful, safe completion of our construction projects nationwide. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
