Business Development Executive – Healthcare RCM (1099 Contractor / Commission Only)
Meridian RCM is a rapidly growing California-based Revenue Cycle Management company focused on helping healthcare organizations improve profitability, reduce denials, optimize AR, and strengthen financial performance. We are actively seeking an experienced business development professional with a strong background in healthcare, medical billing, or revenue cycle management sales. This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone who understands healthcare operations, provider pain points, and how to sell strategic RCM partnerships.
Compensation
Structure:
- 1099 Independent Contractor Role
- Commission Only
- Earn 1% of gross revenue on all new client contracts for the first 6 months
- High earning potential based on performance
- Travel and conference networking opportunities included
Responsibilities:
- Identify and close new healthcare clients for Meridian RCM services
- Prospect physician groups, private practices, behavioral health organizations, specialty clinics, and healthcare companies
- Attend conferences, networking events, and industry functions to generate leads
- Build strategic referral and partner relationships
- Develop and manage outbound sales pipeline
- Represent Meridian RCM professionally within the healthcare marketplace
- Collaborate directly with leadership to support aggressive growth goals

- Proven business development or sales experience in:

- Medical Billing
- Healthcare Consulting

- Practice Management Solutions
- Existing healthcare network strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- Medical billing
- Denials
- Accounts receivable
- Credentialing
- Provider operations
- Comfortable with commission-only compensation structure
- Strong networking and conference sales ability
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
