Responsibilities

As an Experienced Distribution Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective way
  • Processing and inputting customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Producing stock reports to check product availability and ensuring timely delivery
  • Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary
  • Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met
  • Verifying computer-generated invoices and ensuring proper invoicing of accounts
  • Preparing shipping and tracing information for customers as required
  • Maintaining damage records and back-order logs
  • Communicating customer feedback to management, including signs of dissatisfaction
  • Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and customer for account administration and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes
  • Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files
  • Maintaining current and accurate procedure manuals, detailing processing requirements for each account

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications
  • Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key
  • Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in varying facility conditions
  • Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a customer service or distribution role

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A base hourly rate of $18.00 per hour
  • An additional $1.00 per hour for shift work
