Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional service to our plan members through inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels. You will be responsible for answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions, ensuring our members better understand their coverage and options. You will have the opportunity to service a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific clients. You will receive comprehensive training to upskill you to assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service through inbound calls, emails, and other communication channels

  • Answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions
  • Service a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific clients
  • Receive comprehensive training to upskill you to assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise
  • Offer solutions to help simplify our members' healthcare experience

  • Training location can vary by individual experience with onsite and WFH positions

Schedule Options

We offer flexible schedule options to create a work-life balance for those balancing priorities in and outside of work. Schedule options include:

  • Full-time schedules ranging from 30-40 hours per week
  • Days off and hours may vary based on business needs
  • Periods of peak volume may require increased standard hours worked
  • Periods of low call volume may require reduced scheduled hours

Pay and Compensation

Pay rates start at $17.50, with a typical pay range of $17.00 - $28.45. In addition to your compensation, you will enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts its heart into caring for its colleagues and communities.

Required Qualifications

* 1 year experience interacting with customers (i.e., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)

  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications

Preferred Qualifications

* Associates degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
  • Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
