Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Brooklyn Business Center team. As a key point of contact for our customers, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience across all service points. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting customers, answering inquiries, and determining the purpose of their visit
- Utilizing Qmatic Orchestra to manage appointments and issue tickets for walk-in customers
- Creating Electronic Case Folders (ECFs) and scheduling parking and camera violation hearings
- Analyzing and communicating payment summaries and histories for parking and property-related services using Finance systems
- Enrolling eligible customers into various Payment Agreements
- Adhering to cash and document control procedures, processing customer payments, and maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Providing customer service assistance in all Finance Borough Offices and working overtime as necessary
- Distributing, collecting, and submitting inquiries, forms, and application packages for all DOF-related programs and services to the appropriate work unit
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community-centered activities related to the duties described above
- Education and/or experience equivalent to the above qualification requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
- Proficiency in using Qmatic Orchestra and Finance systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a government or non-profit organization
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in the context of parking and property-related services
- Familiarity with Qmatic Orchestra and other customer service management software
- Certification in customer service or a related field
