Key Responsibilities

As a Work from Home Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Inputting data from paper formats into computer files or database systems: You'll accurately and efficiently enter data from various sources, ensuring that our databases are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Typing in data provided directly from customers: You'll work closely with our customers to ensure that their data is accurately and securely entered into our systems.
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes: You'll use your expertise in spreadsheet software to create complex spreadsheets with precision and accuracy.
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents: You'll carefully review data to ensure its accuracy and completeness, using your attention to detail to catch any errors or discrepancies.
  • Updating existing data: You'll make updates to existing data, ensuring that our databases are always current and accurate.
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested: You'll efficiently retrieve data from our databases and electronic files, providing accurate and timely responses to our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation: You'll ensure that our data is safely backed up, protecting it from loss or corruption.
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost: You'll maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all paperwork is properly sorted and stored.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position: You'll have a strong background in data entry, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Fast typing skills: You'll have a high level of typing proficiency, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.): You'll be proficient in a range of software applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices: You'll have a solid understanding of office equipment and computer hardware, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Basic understanding of databases: You'll have a basic understanding of database concepts and principles, including data modeling and data analysis.
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills: You'll have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
