What to Expect: Job Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reading customer and shipping orders submitted in person, via our print catalog, and online; deciphering handwriting that can be challenging to read
- Keying data into specific Microsoft Excel fields, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Verifying the accuracy of data before entry and reporting any errors to your supervisor
- Maintaining accurate and updated logs of ongoing work
- Performing filing, copying, and other administrative duties for approximately three hours per day
What We Require: Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and good communication skills
- Patience for repetitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
How to Stand Out: Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this position:
- Reading knowledge of English and Spanish (approximately 5 to 10 percent of orders are in Spanish)
- One to two years of experience with data entry and/or filing
