Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Orange County, CA. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming calls, providing solutions to customer complaints and concerns, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. This is a local position that offers flexible remote and in-office work arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner (75 to 120 per day)
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching every issue, and providing solutions
  • Maintaining our call center database by entering information
  • Following all communication procedures, policies, and guidelines during every customer interaction
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a professional, positive, and efficient manner
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Staying up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate information to customers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum one year of Call Center experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • In-Person and/or Phone Customer Service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Inbound Call Center experience
  • Professional demeanor
  • Microsoft Office: Intermediate + level
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in the waste and recycling industry
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with data entry and database management
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
